In the presence of Amélie OUDÉA-CASTERA, Minister of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Tony ESTANGUET, president of Paris 2024 and Philippe WAHL, president and CEO of the La Poste group unveiled the official stamp of Paris 2024 at the La Musée Post Office (Paris 15th) . This stamp, issued in 800,000 copies, highlights this great Olympic and Paralympic event. It will be marketed from April 5.
This official stamp celebrates Olympism and the City of Lights once again embodied by Paris 2024, a century after the 1924 Summer Olympic Gam
It is rooted in the heritage and sporting identity imagined for Paris 2024: the meeting of a city and the sports which take over it, transforming it into a real playground .
Colorful, lively and daring, it was built from graphic blocks with a neo-art-deco look from the visual identity of the Paris 2024 Games. The official stamp highlights iconic places that make Paris famous in the whole world: the Eiffel Tower or the Seine. These include sport : from athletics tracks to ball bounces. It has exceptional finishes with hot gilding which illuminate Paris and sport.
