This year, Art Basel will present a redefined city-wide program that includes several key sections: Parcours, the Merian, Film, Conversations, and the Messeplatzproject, aiming to create a vibrant artistic landscape throughout Basel.

Parcours: For the first time curated by Stefanie Hessler, Director of the Swiss Institute in New York, Parcours will feature over 20 site-specific public art installations. These installations will line Clarastrasse, stretching from the fairgrounds to the Rhine, integrating art into everyday urban spaces.

Messeplatz: A major highlight includes a new work by renowned conceptual artist Agnes Denes, curated by Samuel Leuenberger of SALTS. This installation, part of Denes' land art series, will provoke dialogue about environmental and societal themes.

Unlimited: Curated by Giovanni Carmine of Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen, this section will showcase 70 large-scale installations by both prominent and emerging artists, providing a platform for ambitious and monumental artworks.

Kabinett: This specialized sector within the main galleries' booths will return for its second year at the Swiss edition of Art Basel, presenting 22 curated projects by 23 galleries, focusing on thematic depth and curatorial narrative.

Conversations: Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Conversations series will bring together over 25 thought leaders across 11 panels. Curated for the first time by Kimberly Bradley, the program aims to explore contemporary cultural issues, from politics to technology in art.

Film: Curated by Filipa Ramos, the Film program, marking its 25th edition, will include a diverse range of cinematic works, from artist surveys to feature films, along with special programs tailored for young audiences starting from age four.
