Central Stage will be inaugurated by SIDE CORE, the Tokyo-based collective known for urban interventions and spatial installations, whose practice is currently the subject of a major exhibition at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, running through March 2026.
Yi Tai Sculpture and Installation Projects
The Yi Tai Sculpture and Installation Projects programme will unveil five large-scale works, including three by Hong Kong artists, reinforcing Art Central’s commitment to supporting ambitious new commissions and the local creative ecosystem.
With 20% of presentations featuring Hong Kong-based artists and galleries, and 75% representing the broader Asia Pacific region, Art Central continues to serve as a vital platform for collectors and audiences to encounter the region’s remarkable diversity and creativity.
Corey Andrew Barr, Fair Director of Art Central, said:
“Art Central opens its next chapter with intent and urgency, a platform where new artistic voices meet a shifting global conversation. Central Stage deepens this vision by spotlighting artists at defining moments in their practice, bringing institutional recognition and gallery presentation into the same arena.” Art Central_2026_Announcement R…
