ART OSAKA 2025 ------- the longest-running contemporary art fair in Japan

The contemporary art fair will feature two sections across two areas, “Galleries” in Nakanoshima and “Expanded” in Kitakagaya, from 5 to 9 June 2025. The newly launched film screening program is also not to be missed.

We are pleased to announce the exhibitor list for the 23rd edition of Art Osaka, which will welcome 63 galleries from 4 countries and 11 cities, including 6 exhibitors participating in the fair for the first time. Art Osaka will take place at two venues in two areas, Nakanoshima and Kitakagaya, from June 5 to 9, 2025. This year we are also pleased to present Art Osaka’s first Screening Program, which traces the evolution of Japanese moving image works – from avant-garde video art of the 1960s to the diverse practices of today – through four curated programs.

ABOUT ART OSAKA

Art Osaka is the longest-running contemporary art fair in Japan and is characterized by its independent spirit. Since its establishment in 2002 by prominent galleries in Osaka, the fair has been promoting awareness of contemporary art in Japan while also conveying the true pleasure of engaging with it. Today, Art Osaka is recognized as one of Japan’s leading fairs for discovering contemporary Japanese art, focusing on trends among outstanding young and mid-career artists in the Kansai region, including Kyoto and Osaka, where there are many art universities.
